We are a small kennel located in East Haven, Connecticut !

Synergy Retrievers is a small, family-run kennel owned by David and Suzanne Kuzma (with help from our 3 children). We are dedicated to selective breeding of world-class field quality Chocolate and Black Labrador Retrievers. We love Labs and deplore the over breeding that has diluted our beloved breed. We will only breed to create something approaching the perfect Lab -- beautiful blocky American Labs one can hunt, hike and run with, or cuddle with next to the fireplace

Synergy Retrievers is small by design - we carefully plan one or two litters of pups each year. Our breeding program is extremely selective -- we strive to produce well-socialized Labs that are beautiful to look at and that can also be competition-quality AKC-UKC field dogs. All our pups are introduced to feathers and water, like quality labs across the country. In addition, every day of their lives until their adoption, each Synergy Retriever puppy is individually caressed and played with by adults, teen-agers, and young children. We believe that NO commercial kennel in the country can offer you this quality preparation.
